كوه: كوِهَ كَوَهاً: تحيَّر. وتَكَوَّهَتْ عليه أُمورُه: تفرَّقَت واتَّسَعَت، وربما قالوا كُهْتُه وكِهْتُه في معنى اسْتَنْكَهْتُه. وفي الحديث: فقال مَلَكُ الموت لموسى، عليه الصلاة والسلام، كُهْ في وجهي، ورواه اللحياني: كَهْ في وجهي، بالفتح.
